Survived a werewolf attack that killed his parents. He barely survived, and was badly injured and scarred. He wandered the streets of his hometown, surviving on scraps from garbage cans.
The next full moon though, his condition became clear, and a new werewolf stalked the streets of paris. Wizards from the French ministry tried to locate him, and one of them, wanting to move up the ranks, wanted to use the bias against werewolves, to use him to his advantage.
Before disaster could strike though, Francoeur was found by a young girl, a little older than he was. She realized what he was from his scars and injuries, and instead of running away or alerting the authorities, she brought him back to her home. Her aunt was a skilled potion maker, and was able to make a wolfsbane potion for him to keep him from losing his mind on the full moon. He soon became a part of the family.
Wears concealing clothes to hide his scars, and doesn't talk much due to his shyness. He much prefers to let his music do the speaking for him.
When transformed (and having taken his potion) he spends his time with Lucille, who has pretty much become his older sister. She's not frightened by his wolf form, and she makes the transformation bearable for him.
Wand: Reed with Phoenix feather.
Best class: Potions (as he'll need to learn to make his own Wolfsbane potion eventually, he's worked hard at that particular class.), but he most enjoys Music Magic.
House (when in Hogwarts): Gryffindor.
